Most models have good features but in the modeling industry today, all types of beauty are accepted. This is one of the good change that a modeling industry has now. Unlike decades ago, modeling industry is a bit discriminating in choosing who will be a model.

Today you will only need to be hardworking, focus, and determine to be successful. If you are an aspiring model or a beginner in this field, it is very important to understand the different genre of models that suit you that you can do. Below are some of the types of models in the industry today.

Here are some of the different genres of modeling you can do:

1. Runway Model
Models of this type use their body to display specific designer’s clothing in the runway. This is what we call live model.

3. Fashion Model

Print modeling is used in magazine, posters or billboards and usually, it takes more than just to have a pretty face. You also need an attention catcher.

5. Part Models
There are aspects of modeling that only needs a certain part of the body such as feet or hands to represent a brand of product.

6. Glamour Model
If you are oozing with sex appeal you can do this type of modeling since you are using your body to model beauty products or lingerie. This type of modeling focuses more on the model’s body.

7. Art Model
This is the type of modeling that needed for a painter, sculptor or photography. Model is used as the subject in order for an artist, sculptor to make his masterpiece.

8. Social Media Model
With the exponential growth in the digital world, modeling has already revolved in the social media. Social media model are used to influence the internet user with their styles.

9. Fitness Model
They are the model to model a dietary supplies, eating habits and all that pertains to fitness such as exercise equipment. It is important that the model here has tone muscles.

There may be some genre that is not in the list above. These are just a few of them that can give you an idea as an aspiring model. With these genres in modeling, it is not necessary for a single model to be just in one genre. You can do fashion modeling or be an art model. It all depends on where you fit.
